Personal Statement:

My name is Donovan Sinicropi and I currently play CENTER FORWARD for the Minnesota United U17 MLS NEXT Academy. Last year I played with U16 Minneapolis United Academy where I was captain and leading scorer. In my final weekend with the team I was voted man of the match in all 3 games at the EA National Championships. I am a student athlete at Minnehaha Academy and carry an unweighted GPA of 3.92. I played high school soccer my sophomore season and earned 1st team ALL CONFERENCE. I have significant experience playing at the MLS NEXT Level having most recently played with Sporting KC in 2021 and previously with Barca Residency Academy and Minnesota United. An injury in 2021 brought me back to Minnesota for rehabilitation where I eventually joined Minneapolis United. I recently returned to MLS Next with Minnesota United’s U17s.

My goal is to play college soccer for a team which strives to compete at the conference and national level, as well as offers a strong academic program. I would like to play for a coach dedicated to pushing players to maximize their potential. I am confident that I can make an impact to a soccer program. In addition to my main position at Center Foward I can play a number of roles in the attacking or defensive midfield. I bring dynamic ball control, hold up strength, jumping ability and have excellent vision of the game.
